BCPR Annual Report 2010

Rebuild Communities and Restore Livelihoods
Description: Not in recorded history has a flood of such magnitude swept through Pakistan. The human toll has been enormous. The great Indus plain, home to one of the world’s oldest civilizations, lies in ruins. This natural disaster threatens to test the patience of a struggling population, and add to social tensions, which could spiral if early recovery from this disaster is not given priority.

Early Recovery Need Assessment report
Description: This report is an output of an early recovery assessment which was carried out throughout the country in August 2010. It gives a detailed over view of the current situation in twenty four flood affected districts of Pakistan and also recommendations are put forth to implement early recovery interventions. The data in the report is collected from respective Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMAs), District Coordination Officers, grass root level NGOs and the flood affectees.

Pakistan Initial Flood Emergency Plan

ERRA UN Recovery Plan June 2006-May 2007
